Xmas Knife gift help

Hi all

Hey I have searched & searched but cannot find a thread that
was showing a knife. I think it was made by Browning or labeled browning but was actually a better knife. I am pretty sure I read it here. Was it a Mcusta blade?

Any help appreciated I know it was a good deal & wanted to grab a few if available for gifts.

Thanks

That was a thread by TomD about the Browning Ice Storm knives made by Mcusta, and sold by CDNN for a super price. CDNN is all sold out, so they are gone.

Did you have another question?

That is it...Browning Ice Storm

Yeah too slow as they are sold out & that was a great deal at 26 bucks.

Ah well I will look around & see what else.
I need 3 for son & son in laws. Just thought it would be a nice gift.

Try Feebay, maybe you will get lucky and be able to snipe a few.

Even at 39.99 that knife is an excellent deal for a Mcusta.

Lots of nice knives out there for sale, but one doesn't run across a Mcusta for 26 bucks often.

Are you wanting fixed blades or folders?

I'm giving several folks the Gerber Evo for X-mas. It's not a high end knife, but it has quickly become my favorite "carrying around" knife. Lightweight, pocket clip that actually works, and I really like the finger-flik opening.

Just an update.

The best I found online was Amazon at 39+ free ship but for green only.
Then I found a seller on Ebay that has all colors & will deal on quantities. + free ship
http://shop.ebay.com/mtitjd/m.html?_...&_trksid=p3686

I ordered 3 & will post again if all goes well.
He was easy to deal with & gave me a good price for assorted colors

Nevermind all that nonsense, I knew a couple pirate friends who couldn't live without one of these:

One of them opened it about twelve hours ago and reports are he still hasn't stopped giggling.....

Bought a couple of them from him, was friendly and easy to deal with.

Slightly prefer my Leek g10, but these are good quality knives. They don't lock closed, so could conceivably open when dragged out of a pocket. I might go back for more to give as presents.

Longtail.

Yeah he was a good guy to buy from.
I grabbed 3 for gifts. The cost averaged out to 37 each shipped.
He sent a Green,Blue & a Silver but like you I see a great blade but prefer my kershaw ken onion leek for opening quick & closing solidly. I have the 1660 & have not heard of the G10?

Also with the Leek it is a nice feeling to see a quality US product....for a change

EDIT: Oh I just found the G10....Nice !
